apparently i cant get enough

normally i paint my finger nails green for st patricks day this year i couldnt find the bottle of green nail polish its still packed somewhere when i woke up i thought to myself i need something green because i have no green cloths to wear so i whipped this up& pined it to my shirt i also wore the head band in the post below because it has a green leaf btw i went to the chiropractor with my mom like that

we went to lunch with our friends before we left i realized i had shamrock earrings & a bracelet with a shamrock on it so i wore those to lunch instead

today i watched the a-team i love that movie i kept looking at the flower & decided to do this while watching the movie

yep i put it on another head band

the flowers are so easy to make & the head bands came in a pack of 5 & there were alot of ladybug buttons & you cant have a flower head band with out a ladybug & i do have to admit i do like them & should were the headbands out of the house or at least see if my nieces will wear them to school

i have been on a kick of makeing flowers latley & it has been fun i have loved it i had an idea to make flowers & put them on headbands then decided they would be cute with buttons on them so i went & bought headbands at target & buttons at joanns

i saw this pattern & loved it these flowers are for (what the book called) a physcadelic blanket so i used the closest colors to cycadelic i had & this is how they turned out

my last post i posted the flower i made & failed to post a picture of the inside of it so here it is
i love it

this next story wasnt the good idea see this scrub top & the problem with it? i came up with a great idea in my mind to fix it

i would croquet some flowers

and sew them on to the scrub top

everything went perfectly well in my mind but reality was completely different umm yea i should have had the hem sewn up first with a sewing machine

i dont use a sewing machine so needless to say the flowers came off an hour after my shift started the next morning im using the flowers for something different

yay or nay?

last night when i went to bed i fully expected to go to work so i went to bed & had woken up at 5 am then stayed in bed till my alarm went off at 530 so i get up was in the bathroom brushing my teeth when i heard my phone ring i thought who on earth would be calling me this early? the only person who would & has (he hasnt very much maybe 3 times in the last 5 years) is dad & he is sleeping he was off today well it was work telling me to stay home not enough people to justify full staff

so this is what i did instead i went to joanns & bought an embellishment book

as i drove off after purchasing the book i thought i probably should have gotten yarn also to make the flowers oh well i have enough yarn to practice with till i choose what colors i want & im happy & comfortable with reading the directions so i read the first part of the book which said flowers dont take much yarn to make so left over yarn just sitting around is perfect so woo hoo for me i have lots just sitting around so i choose these colors

and the flower i wanted to make i was a little scared of how i would do because its not a flat flower see

its like a real flower this is my very first one made i think i did well im excited to get better at it

now i have been thinking that since im mostly posting things about crocheting on here that i will just turn it into a crocheting blog yay of nay?

ok here goes

i havent posted in awhile mainly because i keep forgetting i have worked on some of mu goals above but not all i recently went around town & took pictures so here are some of my favorites i like them for varies reasons & its not because i took them

i also have been reading the last book in the percy jackson & the olympians series & i love it im half way done with it

its been awhile

i started this blog to stay accountable for my goals some i have kept most i havent i read a book a month i learned to read a pattern for croutheting i satayed at church for the most part i went to the temple once a month if not more until i got a job i got a fancy camrea to take pictures but havent gone anywhere to take pictures yet i have used it on family i even got editing software & i didnt excersie at all i dont feel ikr a failure for not doing most of them so im going to start now i have had to change some of the goals well just one of them going & staying at church i work on sundays now from 7 am to 730 pm & i need to figure out the best time to get up sat-mon before work to excersise so i wont be late to work if i wait till after work it wont get done please stay on my case about these goals so i wont get to lazy & not do any of them thanks
