reason i started this blog

this is the reason i started this blog is to be account able for the goals i made to change myself
so im going to start useing it for this reason some of my goals have changed and i will blog about those i may add some of the other goals later we will see

the two goals i have up above the posting box are the two im going to blog about today and probably for the year too

#1 live simply i dont have alot of stuff compared to others. i have a lot of stuff for me stuff i dont need and stuff i dont use it makes mae antsy to have all this stuff around me. this has been a long time in comeing as in sevral years. i read a book years ago called tending roses by lisa windgate its a great book & a trilogy in the book a grandaughter & her family are takeing care of her elderly grandmother the young faimly was in debit and worried had lots of stuff the grandmother and granddaughter were talking about how the young couple "needed" and wanted all this stuff the grandmother said maybe you should want less. that has stuck with me for years and years i never did anything about it then last year i read 2 more books about liveing simply the last book i read about it was in december and it had said in there the more you have the more you want. that was me i always want more and yes i do give lots of stuff away especially in the last year and a half the last book was called the 100 thing challange. i wont be neccesarrly be liveing by his rules of the 100 thing challange i will be useing some of them and adding my own you can google 100 thing challange and will be able to get to his blog i recommend the book i liked it. so for about a month or so i have been looking in my closet and drawers and thinking i need to get rid of alot of this stuff and kept putting it off yesterday i put it off thinking oh i will do it next week on my days off i will rest up tommorrow for work on thursday. YEA RIGHT i got a wild hair this morning (after doing one of my other goals) and went threw my closet and drawrs and got rid of a bunch of stuff now i just need to go threw the stuff i have now and decide what to keep & what not to. i got rid of most of my jewlery i gave most to my mom and kept some of it for me

#2 be on a gluten free diet i have known for about 4 years i was allergic to wheat my dr said it was just whole wheat i was allergic to. i decided tp go on a gluten free diet yesterday i bought gluten free bread. its diffrent i will finish the loaf. it may have cured me from ever wanting to eat any kind of bread again. my mind may change after finishing the loaf. i will let you know what i think when its done.

my other goals i have been working on since the begining of last month im not completly in the swing of things but im working on it

braided bread

so here is the next bread recipie i did i made it this morning here is everything that is needed to make it

combine and let sit foe 10 minutes: 3/4 cup of sugar 2 tbs of yeast 3 cups of waem water (it looks like this)

after 10 minutes add 1/3 cup of oil (vegetable or canola) 1 egg then add 1 tbs of salt 7 to 8 cups of flour (it should look like this)

(my shirt after mixing it all together) add flour till it pulls away from the side let it fise (cover with a towel or plastic wrap) for about an hour

punch down and divide the dough in half then take one half and divide into 3 equal pieces form 3 long snakes the size of your cookie sheet then braid it this makes 2 loafs youDON'T have to braid it you can put it into a loaf pan (2) or make little balls and put into a 9x13 inch pan and make rolls cook at 359 degrees for about 25 minutes *****side note***** mine came out doughy in the middle so you may want to cook it longer then 25 minutes

it is yummy

thank you jana dixon from the eldorado highlands ward for submitting this recipe love it
